FEATURES:
XC or TR: TR configurations have more travel (115 mm rear, 120 mm front), slightly tougher tires (Maxxis Rekon), a fully adjustable dropper post, no remote lockout, and larger brake rotors. It isn’t a trail bike; it’s an XC bike for specific courses.
Lightweight carbon frame: the Blur full‑suspension is lighter than most pre‑race meals you could consume, saving 289 g versus the previous generation.
Appropriate geometry: the Blur’s rear triangle length is matched to frame size so that every rider, regardless of height, can achieve the same balanced geometry and bike fit.

The Bullit is an electric mountain bike designed to tackle the steepest and deepest trails in both directions. Imagine the rocky, root-filled routes usually reserved for bigger bikes like the Nomad and the Megatower. Now imagine what lies beyond.
While the Heckler prioritizes agility and handling, the Bullit takes a more no-limits approach. The 170 mm travel, 38 mm fork, and DoubleDown tires reflect the capability to push this platform. This is a bike for riders seeking V10-level terrain outside the reach of any chairlift or shuttle road.
In reality it was the success of the Santa Cruz Syndicate team with its mixed-wheel DH race bikes that led to considering the same setup for the Bullit. Santa Cruz learned from them that mixed wheels offer the high-speed security of a 29er with the handling and maneuverability of a 27.5-inch rear wheel. And for an e-bike, it also means being able to decide exactly how long (or short) Santa Cruz wants the seatstays to be to balance traction on climbs and handling. The increased wheelbase on steep climbs is an additional advantage.
The bigger trails require a greater commitment to reach them. Fortunately, Shimano's commitment to the STEPS EP8 motor means they have a lighter, more powerful (85 Nm), more compact and more efficient way to reach them. The EP8 has also been tuned to provide more power in Trail mode without affecting range. Paired with the larger Shimano 630Wh battery, Bullit is perfectly equipped to tackle the longest, most demanding climbs and descents.
