The brand new SANTA CRUZ TALLBOY 5 C R has a playful style, a 130 mm travel fork and a redesigned rear suspension to unleash your desire to beat all your times on the descents. The Tallboy is a cross-country bike that is also very popular with downhill riders. This full-suspension bike features: carbon frame, 29" wheels, VPP layout and 130 mm front travel and 120 mm rear travel. On the down tube there is the GloveBox: a compartment located just above the shock absorber where you can store small personal items.Under the bottle cage, on the other hand, there is a small door where you can insert the inner tube and small tools for quick repairs. The Tallboy is a full-suspension bike, perfect for descending, and on the suspensions it is now possible to benefit from a compression curve capable of offering better bottom-out sensitivity. The shock has a lower initial ratio but a higher final one and the whole system is responsive and snappy. The bike is equipped with a flip-chip that increases or decreases the progressiveness of the suspension and the 67.5° head angle allows you to tackle the most demanding descents. The seat angle is 76.7° and helps improve the riding position while pedaling, and the reach has been extended by 5 mm to provide further stability on descents.

For the rider with a Peter Pan soul or for those who ama the flat tabletop style, the Bronson undoubtedly encourages an over-the-top style. The look of the Bronson has changed radically. tutto this work does not stem from the ego of a designer, it was not conceived simply to stand out on the market. Changing the position of the lower link and the shock, now lower and further forward, was essential to lower the anti-squat for a wild bike like the Bronson. Anti-squat occurs when the force of your pedaling ends up stiffening the suspension. Every time you encounter an obstacle, a bump, the chain, and therefore the pedals, are effectively jerked backwards. If the anti-squat is insufficient, the bike dives under pedaling force. If instead it is too high, the bike will be “stiff” and will not be able to absorb the roughness you encounter while under load. By moving any of the VPP™ pivots a couple of millimeters in any direction, you obtain extraordinary adjustments to the ride quality. The lower VPP™ link is now positioned lower and slightly further forward to optimize anti-squat. The result is a feeling of smoothness, priceless feel and great traction.
