XLC is a German company founded in 2003 that produces components for all types of bicycles. In 2003, the ACCELL GROUP N.V. company developed the idea of marketing its own XLC brand of bicycle components, transforming the English expression “x-cellent bike components” into the acronym XLC.The first products manufactured were handlebars, stems, and seat posts. The range of products currently manufactured by XLC includes: bicycle spare parts and accessories, clothing, and backpacks.At first, the brand was sold only to specialized bicycle retailers in Germany and Austria, but soon France, Spain, the Netherlands, and Italy were also added. The company currently operates internationally and is present in more than 40 countries worldwide, through carefully selected bike dealers.
