The A3 MTB helmet is equipped with a class B MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) integrated into the TLD V3 fit adjustment system. This maximizes airflow and comfort while maintaining high MIPS safety standards. The inner shell consists of two co-molded materials, EPS and EPP, absorbing and dissipating impact energy to protect riders at both low and high speeds.
Beyond being a safe helmet, TLD's A3 is also super comfortable and practical to use: it has a perfect fit thanks to the 360° Precision Fit system and 3 levels of height adjustment. The V2 Fidlock magnetic buckle can be easily opened and closed with gloves, with one hand and without the risk of pinching the skin.
A wide range of goggles and masks have been tested and approved for use with the TLD A3 helmet, while the Sweatglide system (removable, washable, and replaceable sweat management system) and XSTATIC® lining prevent sweat buildup that could cause odors and the growth of bacteria.
The visor is adjustable in 3 positions and features an automatic magnetic system for quick, secure, and precise positioning. The screws securing the visor to the helmet are anodized aluminum screws with washers that, in the event of a fall or collision, break in a controlled manner.
