Dissent Labs
Dissent Labs is a brand specialising in the production of socks for both ski and snow sports and MTB disciplines. Through specific materials, compression manufacturing and a study of the fit, Dissent Labs products improve the comfort of shoes and boots.
The idea of producing specific socks for mountain sports was born in 2011, when a pair of medical compression socks, with a simple design but great fit, became the starting point for the production of Dissent socks. The brand was officially born the following year.
Dissent socks are carefully designed, made from technical materials and tested relentlessly, and provide unmistakable, consistent comfort. Shoes and boots were worn with more ease and comfort and foot injuries were relegated to the past.
The socks feature Genuflex three-dimensional anatomical padding, designed to maintain the fit of shoes and boots. The result is less bulk and a better feel in the fit. The fabric used is DL/DLX wool, a Merino wool made from a different blend of yarns, specially created by Dissent. It provides unrivalled warmth, breathability, comfort, shape retention and durability.
The NanoGLIDE® technology, designed to reduce friction, manages moisture better and is highly resistant. This treatment is permanent and lasts even after countless washings. The socks also feature CuTEC® technology, which exploits the anti-static, anti-microbial and heat-conducting properties of copper, inhibiting bacterial growth and significantly improving heat regulation. Finally, Polygiene® technology helps the socks stay fresh and last longer by counteracting the growth of odour-causing bacteria and improving skin hygiene.
