SPECIALIZED TARMAC SL7 EXPERT BIKE

The new SPECIALIZED TARMAC SL7 EXPERT BIKE is lightweight, it has an excellent ride quality and it is the fastest road bike in its line.

From an aerodynamic point of view, the new SL7 is 45 seconds faster on 40 km than the previous version (it is almost at the level of the current Venge and much higher than the Venge Vias).

The frame is made of FACT 10R carbon fiber and, thanks to Rider-First Engineered™ technology, it is stiff in the right places and makes the bike balanced and responsive both uphill and downhill. The geometries are similar to the previous Tarmac SL6, while the high-performance aerodynamic characteristics refer to the Venge. The result is an even lighter, faster and more manageable bike.

Like the Venge, and unlike the SL6, the cockpit is semi-integrated, because the cable routing (like the mechanical shifting, the traditional stem and the round profile handlebar) is internal. The bike is thus faster and cleaner. The shape of the tubes (seat tube, seat stays, head tube and fork) also change to optimize the relationship between torsional rigidity, weight and aerodynamics. Finally, the new balance between the front and rear axle increases performance and makes the bike more comfortable, without making it less reactive.
