SPECIALIZED S-WORKS RECON SHOES are perfect for cross-country, gravel, and cyclo-cross and offer light weight and exceptional power transfer. The outsole and rubber toe and heel overlays provide maximum grip on the ground while walking while the stiff TPU base material offers maximum stability and excellent propulsive force. The heel counter, with the new PadLock™, is more comfortable than the previous version of the same shoe.
The upper is made of Dyneema™ aerospace material and is crushproof. Body Geometry features such as the longitudinal arch, varus thickness, and metatarsal button, designed based on scientific data that has demonstrated effectiveness in optimizing power, increasing efficiency, and reducing the possibility of injury offer maximum comfort.
The heat-welded upper makes it easy to slip the foot inside the shoe while the CNC alloy Boa adjusters, have micro-resistant interiors and millimeter micro-adjustment is very precise for optimal customization.
