The Status 160 is an entirely new bike, just as it represents different thinking about how to have fun riding two wheels-even if it means different sizes.

The 29er wheel up front provides perfect cornering traction and plenty of smoothness, while the 27.5 wheel on the rear, along with short low chainstays mean maximum fun. Playful 'Mixed Wheel' Trail geometry means Fun with a capital F in the park, on the trail, wherever you want.

The fun-designed Status 160 is outfitted with everything you need for the party: powerful brakes, X-Fusion Manic telescopic seatpost, Fox FLOAT 36 Rhythm fork and DPX2 Performance shock, all on our FSR rear wagon that delivers an active, stable ride.

SPECIALIZED STATUS 160 BASE BIKE MAIN FEATURES:

Few frills, lots of fun for the Status 160 with Trail 'Mixed Wheels' geometry. The FSR system and M5 alloy frame ensure this bike can take the hits and come back to fight all the time.
The FOX Float Rhythm fork with Grip damper is pure adventure with controlled travel. The two-position Sweep adjustment will make right use of the 160mm travel based on the terrain, and the 36mm stanchions are very stiff for an ultra-precise ride.
When you're having fun, launching yourself at full speed, the SRAM Code R four-piston brakes and 200mm rotors will slow you down when needed.
