The FOX 2021 38K FLOAT 27.5F-S ESC.160 GRIP2 HSCLSC SBLK 15QRX110 1.5 HTS FORK, optimized for 160 mm of travel, has the same revolutionary features of the 36, and is perfect to be mounted on Enduro MTB.

The floating axles offer high performance thanks to their unique ability to match the exact width of the mounting surface of the fork wheels exactly to the spacing of the front hub flange, thus creating a perfect alignment of the frame and eliminating unwanted friction between the fork legs.
Floating axles allow for smoother suspension movement, greatly improving sensitivity and overall ride quality.
Floating axles with quick release lever make it easy to open the release without tools. Thanks to this system the wheelbase is locked by a floating axle and allows easy removal of the front wheel while keeping the fork perfectly aligned.

When the fork compresses, the volume of air inside the lower legs decreases, increasing the air pressure. The more the fork compresses, the more pressure increases. This effect can have the unintended consequence of preventing full travel.
The channels located at the bottom of the fork help alleviate this problem by drastically increasing the volume of air inside the legs and thus reducing the amount of unwanted pressure increase.
Another advantage brought by these channels is that the oil to lubricate the lower part of the fork legs is circulated in the upper part of the legs, continuously lubricating the rings and bushings while the fork compresses and extends during its stroke.

The purging systems, located in the lower part of the fork legs, allow to equalize the atmospheric pressure at the push of a button. The accumulation of pressure in the lower legs drastically reduces the performance of the fork, preventing it from reaching full stroke and decreasing the sensitivity and reactivity of small bumps.

The arched design of the lower legs of the fork allows the fork to adapt to all modern Enduro and Downhill MTBs. The head tube profiles have become larger and larger and the fork offsets shorter and shorter. The new arc shape takes this into account and protrudes slightly forward to give the head tube plenty of space at full compression.

The elliptical head tube allows the head tube to be placed only where it is needed and optimizes stiffness and weight.

The Grip2 shock absorber allows ultra-precise adjustment and unparalleled ride quality. The shock absorber is equipped with patented VVC technology that controls the valves and allows external tuning of the suspension performance.

EVOL technology increases the negative volume of the air spring, optimizing the sensitivity of small shocks. The linear curve of the EVOL spring offers an increase from the top, extra support at mid stroke and more adjustable progression from the bottom outwards.
The advantages of the EVOL air spring are further enhanced by new channels and lower leg purges: both work to reduce the air pressure captured in the lower leg, allowing the EVOL air spring to operate freely without interference.
