FRONT HOPE TECH4 V4 BRAIDED BRAKE
The FRONT HOPE TECH4 V4 BRAIDED brake, replaces the Tech 3, and is compatible with all Hope calipers. The new piston can be used in combination with the four calipers of the previous model, namely X" Cross Country, E4 Enduro, V4 Downhill and TrialZone for trial. The braking power has been increased by 30% and this was achieved both through a different hydraulic ratio and thanks to a smaller-diameter pump. The new seals reduce friction in the hydraulic system: this feature, along with the roller bearings placed in the lever pin, allows a lighter return spring and makes downhill braking less tiring. The hinged clamp further reduces the brake weight while the reservoir is positioned at the height of the lower stack. The V4 calipers have been updated to accommodate stainless steel hybrid pistons with a phenolic insert for even smoother movement and reduced maintenance. The brake is sold with Organic Racing compound pads designed for minimal rest and maximum power.

The new HOPE XCR PRO X2 is an ultra-lightweight brake for cross-country, marathon and trail riding. It is based on the X2 caliper and the lever is carbon, to reduce weight without sacrificing performance and it runs on new bushings that reduce friction.The main cylinder is integrated into the brake body and positions the lever pin away from the handlebar: this type of configuration allows for a large hydraulic reservoir for easy and fast bleeding.The brake body is CNC machined anodized and the new clamp design makes it easy to install the brake on the MTB.The model is equipped with an integrated direct mount for Shimano I-Spec shifts and the lever is adjustable with a 2 mm Allen key.The brake uses the X2 caliper but uses lighter pads with an aluminum backing, a lower profile, and a lighter tube connector.

The ease of movement is supported by an industrial ball bearing at the pivot point. The brake lever has become longer for better modulation and greater control. As before, lever width and adjust point can be adjusted without tools. The two-piece clamp for attaching to the handlebar simplifies installation, because no parts need to be removed from the handlebar for mounting.
