HOPE TECH4 V4 BRAIDED REAR BRAKE

The HOPE TECH4 V4 BRAIDED REAR BRAKE replaces the Tech 3 and is compatible with all Hope calipers. The new master cylinder can be used in combination with all four calipers of the previous model, namely X2 Cross Country, E4 Enduro, V4 Downhill and TrialZone for trial.
Braking power has been increased by 30%, made possible both by a different hydraulic ratio and thanks to a smaller diameter master cylinder. The new seals reduce friction in the hydraulic system: this feature, together with the roller bearings positioned on the lever pivot, allows for a lighter return spring and makes using the brakes on descents less tiring.
The hinged clamp further reduces the weight of the brake while the reservoir is positioned at the lower stack height.

The brake is sold with Racing organic compound pads designed for minimal fade and maximum power.
