The REAR BRAKE HOPE TECH4 V4 BRAIDED, replaces Tech 3, and is compatible with all Hope calipers. The new pump can be used in combination with the four calipers of the previous model, i.e., X2 Cross Country, E4 Enduro, V4 Downhill, and TrialZone for trial.
The braking power has been increased by 30% and this was made possible both through a different hydraulic ratio and thanks to a smaller-diameter pump. The new seals reduce friction in the hydraulic system: this feature, together with the needle bearings located in the lever pivot, allows for a lighter return spring and makes downhill braking less tiring.
The hinged clamp further reduces the brake weight while the reservoir is positioned at the level of the lower stack.
The V4 calipers have been updated to accommodate stainless steel hybrid pistons with a phenolic insert for even smoother movement and lower maintenance.
The brake is sold with Racing organic-mixed pads designed for minimal rest and maximum power.
