The trend toward wider tires continues to increase and the lower tire pressures pose new challenges for rims. Also tire sidewall protection is an issue on narrow rims with wide tires. Hope is addressing this need with the new Fortus rims. The welded rims are made of 6061 aluminum. The Fortus 30 has greater strength thanks to the two additional inner cavities. The spoke holes are equipped with eyelets for easy wheel construction and longer life. During optimization of the rim profile, the tubeless capability was of course preserved. Tubeless tire installation is as easy as with all other HOPE rims.
