REAR BRAKE HOPE TECH4 V4 SILVER The REAR BRAKE HOPE TECH4 V4 SILVER, replaces the Tech3 model, and the new pump can be used in combination with the four calipers of the previous model, namely X2 Cross Country, E4 Enduro, V4 Downhill, and TrialZone for trial. The braking power has been increased by 30%, made possible both by a different hydraulic ratio and by a pump of smaller diameter. The new seals reduce friction in the hydraulic system: this feature, together with the roller bearings placed in the lever axle, allows for a lighter return spring and makes using the brakes on descents less tiring. The hinged caliper further reduces the brake weight while the reservoir is positioned at the height of the lower stack. The V4 calipers have been updated to accommodate stainless steel hybrid pistons with phenolic insert for even smoother movement and reduced maintenance. The brake is sold with Racing organic compound pads designed for minimal rest and maximum power.
