HOPE TECH4 V4 SILVER REAR BRAKE
The HOPE TECH4 V4 SILVER REAR BRAKE replaces the Tech3 model, and the new master cylinder can be used in combination with the four calipers of the previous model, namely X2 Cross Country, E4 Enduro, V4 Downhill and TrialZone for trials.
Braking power has been increased by 30%, made possible both by a different hydraulic ratio and thanks to a smaller diameter master cylinder. The new seals reduce friction in the hydraulic system: this feature, together with the roller bearings positioned in the lever pivot, allows for a lighter return spring and makes using the brakes on descents less fatiguing.
The hinged clamp further reduces the weight of the brake while the reservoir is positioned at the lower stack height.
The V4 calipers have been updated so they can accommodate hybrid pistons in stainless steel with phenolic insert for even smoother movimenti and reduced maintenance.
The brake is sold with Racing compound organic pads designed for minimum fade and maximum power.
