The Hope fixed disc, also called monoblocco, features a serrated Saw profile and is made from a unico piece of steel and therefore, unlike the spider, the braking track is not free to move. The use of a fixed disc allows high-level performance but if it is subjected to uno prolonged effort and therefore to excessive overheating, the surface has no possibility to expand and is non able to dissipate the heat produced.
