HOPE XCR PRO X2 REAR BRAKE
The new HOPE XCR PRO X2 is an ultra-light brake for cross-country, marathon and trail riding. It is based on the X2 caliper and the lever is made of carbon, thus reducing weight without sacrificing performance, and it rotates on new bushings that reduce friction.
The master cylinder is integrated into the brake body and positions the lever pivot away from the handlebar: this type of configuration makes it possible to have a large hydraulic reservoir for easy and quick bleeding.
The brake body is CNC-machined and anodized and the new clamp design allows the brake to be easily installed on the bike.
The brake has an integrated direct mount for Shimano I-Spec shifters and the lever is adjusted with a 2 mm Allen key.
The brake uses the X2 caliper but uses lighter pads with an aluminum backing plate, a lower profile and a lighter hose connector.
