FRONT HOPE TECH4 V4 BRAIDED BRAKE The FRONT HOPE TECH4 V4 BRAIDED brake, replaces the Tech 3, and is compatible with all Hope calipers. The new piston can be used in combination with the four calipers of the previous model, namely X" Cross Country, E4 Enduro, V4 Downhill and TrialZone for trial. The braking power has been increased by 30% and this was achieved both through a different hydraulic ratio and thanks to a smaller-diameter pump. The new seals reduce friction in the hydraulic system: this feature, along with the roller bearings placed in the lever pin, allows a lighter return spring and makes downhill braking less tiring. The hinged clamp further reduces the brake weight while the reservoir is positioned at the height of the lower stack. The V4 calipers have been updated to accommodate stainless steel hybrid pistons with a phenolic insert for even smoother movement and reduced maintenance. The brake is sold with Organic Racing compound pads designed for minimal rest and maximum power.
