HOPE XCR PRO X2 FRONT BRAKE
The new HOPE XCR PRO X2 is an ultra-light brake for cross-country, marathon and trail riding. It is based on the X2 caliper and the lever is made of carbon to reduce weight without sacrificing performance and pivots on new bushings that reduce friction.
The master cylinder is integrated into the brake body and positions the lever pivot away from the handlebar: this type of configuration allows for a large hydraulic reservoir for easy and quick bleeding.
The brake body is CNC-machined and anodized and the new clamp design makes it easy to install the brake on the MTB.
The model features an integrated direct mount for Shimano I-Spec shifters and the lever is adjusted with a 2 mm hex key.
The brake uses the X2 caliper but is equipped with lighter pads with aluminum backing plate, a lower profile and a lighter hose connector.
