Il MOZZO HOPE ANTERIORE PRO 5 110 MM 28 FORI unisce l'esperienza di 30 anni di lavoro con le esigenze delle attuali e future tecnologie ciclistiche. Uno degli obiettivi principali della progettazione del mozzo Pro 5 era la riduzione della resistenza aerodinamica nel meccanismo di trasmissione. Per ottenere questo risultato è stato necessario migliorare la tenuta con una nuova guarnizione a labirinto a resistenza zero e un sistema di cricchetto e nottolino migliorato, con nuove molle.Un altro importante aggiornamento dei mozzi posteriori consiste nell'aumento dei punti di ingaggio (da 44 a 108) grazie a un design del mozzo a 6 cricchetti sfalsati, in cui 3 cricchetti sono impegnati in qualsiasi momento. In questo modo è possibile raggiungere il giusto equilibrio tra velocità di presa, capacità di carico, resistenza e durata, e in termini reali si ottiene una sensazione di velocità sul sentiero mantenendo il movimento della pedivella a un livello accettabile senza compromettere la libertà di movimento del mozzo o la sua affidabilità.La parte esterna della calotta possiede un nuovo profilo per aumentare la rigidità senza aumentare il peso e il nuovo design dell'asse consente di montare cuscinetti più grandi in una disposizione migliore per adattarsi agli ultimi standard dei corpetti, aumentando al contempo la capacità di carico.

To achieve this, it was necessary to improve sealing with a zero-resistance labyrinth seal and an improved ratchet and pawl system, with new springs.Another important update of the rear hubs is the increase in engagement points (from 44 to 108) thanks to a 6-pawl multi‑pawl hub design, where 3 pawls are engaged at any given time. This makes it possible to achieve the right balance between acceleration, load capacity, resistance, and durability, and in practical terms it provides a sense of speed on the trail while keeping the crank motion at an acceptable level without compromising freehub movement or reliability. The outer shell features a new profile to increase rigidity without adding weight, and the new axle design allows larger bearings to be mounted in a better arrangement to fit the latest torso standards, while increasing load capacity at the same time.
