The Scalpel's double suspension frame is one of the lightest ever made: it weighs just over 1,900 grams, has a rear shock, incredible suspension, impeccable handling and extreme lightness. The Flex-Pivot suspension, lightweight and high performance, offers exceptional grip on the ground, acceleration and control.

The bike is equipped with Lefty fork, fluid and light that ensures a very precise ride. The design, unique in its kind, allows you to ride easily on roots and bend perfectly even in the most extreme situations.
The fork's extra-long offset ensures stability and safety on the most challenging terrain, without sacrificing fast steering, perfect for XC.

Scalpel's progressive geometry features a head tube that is one and a half degrees more open and a down tube angle that is one degree more pronounced, making the bike aggressive, fast, fun and stable on any terrain.

FlexPivot technology is the key element in Scalpel's incredible suspension performance and light weight. FlexPivot plates, made of carbon, create virtual Horst link pins, even though they are stiffer and lighter than bearings. Durable, flexible and completely maintenance-free.

The suspension layout (Proportional Response) is customized for each frame size so every rider can get the same exceptional suspension performance.

Through Cannondale's free app, the integrated wheel sensor captures accurate information on speed, route and distance traveled. It also allows you to register your bike and reminds you to perform maintenance.

The Offset Ai drivetrain (asymmetric integration), allows for ample tire clearance, preventing mud buildup, while keeping the lower chainstays ultra-short for exceptional traction and agility.
