CANNONDALE SCALPEL CARBON SE LTD LEFTY BIKE

The new CANNONDALE SCALPEL CARBON SE LTD LEFTY, with 120 mm Lefty Ocho fork, is a perfect mtb for the "downcountry". Compared to the previous model, the frame (carbon) weighs 60 grams more due to a slight increase of material in some points and is also more rigid and resistant and the stem is 3 mm longer (and is also more robust and slightly heavier). The location of the air transfer hole between the two chambers is also different and the two chambers are smaller.

The 120mm of travel and the fork's significant offset provide greater stability and security when pedaling on uneven terrain and keep steering precise and responsive in any situation.

Flex-Pivot chainstays, made of carbon, create Virtual Horst pivots and, while lighter than bearings, are highly durable, incredibly flexible and totally maintenance-free.

Offset drivetrain allows for ample tire clearance, prevents mud buildup and keeps the low chainstays ultra-short for exceptional traction and agility. Asymmetrical camber, due to the Ai system, makes the rear wheel stiffer and stronger.

Through Cannondale's free App, the integrated wheel sensor can provide accurate information on speed, route and distance traveled.

The frame is compatible with the Kit stash system where you can store everything you need for small and quick repairs and possibility to carry two water bottles.
