The CANNONDALE SCALPEL CARBON SE 1 is a bike as fast as World Cup racing and as daring all-mountain: a cross-country MTB with truly incredible performance.

The 120mm FlexPivot suspension provides high ground clearance, maximum control and speed. Carbon chainstays create hors vitrual pivots, even though they're stiffer and lighter than bearings. The suspension is incredibly strong, flexible and totally maintenance-free.
The suspension layout is customized for each frame size so every rider can get the same performance from the suspension.

Scalpel's progressive XC attitude has evolved further with an open and stable 67%u02DA head tube angle, complemented by a shorter stem, larger tires, telescopic seatpost and increased travel.

The unique Offset Ai drivetrain allows for ample tire clearance, avoids mud buildup and keeps chainstays low and ultra-short for exceptional traction and agility.
The asymmetrical camber, due to the Ai system, makes the rear wheel stiffer and stronger.

The frame is compatible with the STASH kit so you can carry all your small tools for quick repairs. Attachments to carry two water bottles.

Through Cannondale's free app, the wheel sensor is able to capture highly accurate information such as speed, route and distance traveled, allows you to register your bike, reminds you to perform maintenance and numerous other services.
