The CANNONDALE SCALPEL CARBON 3 is the perfect XC MTB. The bike is equipped with the perfect Lefty fork for XC while the aggressive geometry and light weight allow for fast pedalling on all trails. The FlexPivot suspension is incredibly light, high-performance, with exceptional grip, acceleration and control to keep you going fast.
The progressive geometry of the bike provides for a head tube that is one and a half degrees more open, while the down tube angle is one degree more pronounced, which makes this XC bike more aggressive, fast as the wind, fun and stable everywhere from World Cup courses to local circuits.
The suspension's Flex Pivot carbon plates create individual Horst link pivots, while being lighter and stiffer than the bearings, and are strong, flexible and totally maintenance-free.
Proportional Response technology allows the suspension layout to be customised for each frame size so that all riders can get the same outstanding suspension performance.
OutFront Steering Geometry: the extra-long offset of the Lefty fork provides stability and security on the most challenging terrain without sacrificing fast steering.
Via the free Cannondale app, the integrated wheel sensor acquires all the information on speed, route and distance travelled. It also allows you to register your bike and reminds you to perform maintenance.
The Offset Ai drivetrain allows you to fit wide tyres and avoid mud build-up while still keeping the chainstays low and ultra-short for exceptional agility and traction.
The frame weighs around 1900 g and features incredible suspension, flawless rideability and extreme lightness: the perfect recipe for winning.
