The SPECIALIZED CHISEL is a perfect hardtail for all those who approach the world of Cross Country and Marathon. The frame is made of aluminium and the geometry is inspired by the Epic: the steering angle is 69.8 degrees and is combined with a Rockshox Reba fork with 100 mm of excursion and 51 mm rake. DSW (D'Aluisio Smart Welding) technology shifts the connection between tubes and cylinders from the area of greatest stress to make the frame stronger, lighter and more rigid. The XC 29 geometry of the Chisel is similar to the XC race features, with the addition of some DNA trail: the head tube is longer, the head tube is shorter and the front corners are more relaxed. The end result is greater downhill stability, without compromising on uphill efficiency.
