The SPECIALIZED S-WORKS ARES ROAD are road bike shoes made with the best materials and advice from professional athletes. The shape of the upper makes the shoe one with the foot and thanks to the new Boa Li2 closure, positioned more centrally, the pressure is distributed more evenly over the entire foot. The result is a shoe even more snug and secure in the front part of the foot.
Renewed collar and heel area, and super rigid Fact 15 carbon sole.

SPECIALIZED S-WORKS ARES ROAD SHOES MAIN FEATURES:

• Body geometry features such as the longitudinal arch, metatarsal button and varus wedge are critical for increased comfort, optimal performance and reduced chance of injury.
• Proper alignment of the hip, foot and knee reduces the risk of injury, reduces lateral/medial knee movement and preserves circulation to the toes.
• The (patent pending) closure system ensures an excellent fit even while riding out of the saddle.
• Non-elastic zones have been created where Dyneema material is embedded in layers of synthetic material and TPU for a perfect connection and optimal comfort.
• The FACT POwerline carbon fiber sole is stiff and light and allows high power transfer. Stiffness index: 15.0.
• BOA Li2 Fit system with independent adjusters and micro-adjustment, with Boa guarantee;
• PadLock heel keeps the heel in position for better acceleration.
• Non-slip, easily replaceable rear cleat.
• Form Fit fit with wide forefoot for perfect connection and exceptional comfort.
• The threaded titanium sleeves can be reversed to move the cleat further back by up to 5mm.
