Specialized's BOOMSLANG pedals feature an ultra thin profile (10mm in the center) for the best connection with the rider.

The large support surface (110x108 mm) allows you to stay on the pedals in the off-seat without too much trouble, while the tapered edge and pins give a grip on the pedal almost as good as a pedal with an attachment.

The pins are so thin and pointed that you can't let the pedal get away or put your calf in a resting position...they scratch like claws!
