In terms of performance and reliability, the GRX model matches the Deore XT version designed for XC and trail use. To ensure exceptional stability on rough and hilly terrain, the SPD pedals feature a wide "Edge to Edge" platform and a reduced overall height (16.5 mm). To make it easy for riders to step on and off even after walking through deep, ankle-high mud, the double-sided pedals are equipped with an "Offset" cleat attachment that effectively sheds dirt. The robust SPD retention system keeps feet securely connected to the pedals even under the hardest efforts. Engagement tension can be finely adjusted thanks to the adjustable spring tension.
