The VPP™ suspension can be tuned to strike the perfect balance between pedaling efficiency and the ability to absorb the hardest hits. The Nomad excels at soaking up the biggest impacts, allowing the rider to push harder and ride with more confidence even on the roughest terrain. Yet, thanks to its pedaling efficiency, reaching the most beautiful and highest trails is far less exhausting than on other bikes.

Sensitivity and Constant Traction

On the Nomad, reducing anti-squat has minimized pedal kickback on high-speed square-edge hits, while at the same time improving overall suspension sensitivity to maintain traction at all speeds, uphill and downhill.

Bump Control and Tracking

By reducing the initial leverage ratio on the new Nomad, it has been possible to improve the geometric stability affected by body weight throughout the travel. At the same time, with reduced progression, the suspension maintains consistent tracking quality across the full range of travel.

Built to Last

Short, robust counter-rotating links connect the front and rear triangles, creating an extremely stiff frame that reduces lateral flex. Simple expanding collet axles hold everything together, pivots run on large-diameter axles and bearings (offered with a lifetime free replacement), and the lower link includes a grease port for quick and easy maintenance.

Frame Stiffness Tuned by Size

Bigger riders mean more stress on bigger frames. That’s why we adjust stiffness for each size, so every rider gets the same ride quality.

The Details Matter

The whole package is finished off with a handy mudguard to protect the rear shock, tidy internal cable routing in both frame and swingarm, plus rubberized DT protectors to withstand rock strikes.
