SANTA CRUZ HIGHTOWER 3 C S BIKE

The SANTA CRUZ HIGHTOWER 3 C S is an all terrain mtb with big wheels, medium travel, versatile and durable. The lower link, specially made for this mtb, houses a Flip Chip that adjusts the geometry, and the strong Pivot Axles (virtually) eliminate lateral deflection. The Upper Link assembly features top-quality Enduro MAX or TPX sealed radial bearings and premium fasteners.
VPP suspensions are one-piece in order to eliminate pivots on the chainstays, creating a strong, bomb-proof rear end for precise tracking and superior performance.
VPP suspension offers the right balance of pedaling efficiency and ability to overcome bumps. 145 mm at the rear and 150 mm at the front are the perfect combination.
The new "Glovebox" closure, located on the down tube allows you to carry small tools and accessories useful for a day's biking.
At the Low flip-chip position, the shock's speed becomes more progressive, especially at the end of the stroke, and some bottom-out resistance is gained. At the high setting, the bike goes up a bit more in its stroke and provides the rider with more mid-stroke support.
The chainstay length and saddle angle are matched to the frame size so that every rider, regardless of height, has the same balanced geometry. In all sizes, however, the head tube angle has been loosened to favor stability at speed, the bottom bracket has been lowered to favor a more sustained suspension, and the stack has been increased to favor modern handlebar configurations.
The Hightower is equipped with 29-inch front and rear quick-slide, bump-proof wheels.
