The SANTA CRUZ HECKLER 9 C XT MX is a perfect e-mtb for going the distance and is fast and fun to ride in all situations. The latest generation of the Heckler features a larger interchangeable battery (720wh from 504wh), allowing riders to expand their trail map, accessing previously unreachable trails, unlocking less-traveled trails, and going farther in less time.
What sets Santa Cruz e-bikes apart is how well they hold up on any trail: the carbon layup and frame design make the bike both maneuverable and durable.
The geometry has been refined through extensive testing and feedback to make it fun to ride both uphill and downhill. Finally, the legendary VPP suspension has been tuned specifically for ebike use. The 150 mm rear travel (with a 160 mm fork up front) seems to be the sweet spot for a bike intended to tame big trails on big days, with slightly less anti-squat to provide glue-like traction on the climbs you'll be testing yourself on.
The battery is fully removable/replaceable, which means you can carry a spare for ultra range or recharge it away from the bike.
The bike mounts the lightweight, powerful and efficient Shimano EP8 motor that allows you to tackle all trails safely and easily.
