ROCKY MOUNTAIN ALTITUDE POWERPLAY ALLOY 70 BIKE

The ROCKY MOUNTAIN ALTITUDE POWERPLAY ALLOY 70 BIKE mounts the new and powerful Dyname 4.0 system, with high NM torque, small size and long life to easily tackle climbs, accelerate more easily and pedal even longer.
Compared to the previous motor (Dyname 3.0), the 4.0 is 18.5% lighter, more reliable and even quieter as mechanical noise caused by rubbing and drag has been reduced. The engine speed (rpm) is also lower so that the electrical hum is reduced. It has a torque of 108 Nm and a peak power of 700 W, at optimal cadence (85 rpm).
The power delivery is responsive and natural and completely eliminates the lag time between power application and motor response. All this allows for greater control of the bike on the trail, including scenarios such as steep and technical hill starts.

The Jumbotron display is integrated into the top tube so all data and information can be viewed quickly and easily. The display can be operated via the handlebar control.

The motor and the display allow you to adjust both the assistance level and the boost level to suit your riding style. The boost level adjusts torque sensitivity, which is how the motor responds to the input it receives through the pedals.
The assist level allows you to adjust the power output, i.e. the percentage of available power emitted by the Dyname 4.0 drive system in the different assistance modes. There are four modes for managing battery levels, adjusting speed, and fine-tuning effort: Ludicrous, Trail Plus, Trail, and Eco.

The battery is 720Wh, it is easy to remove and the charging time depends on the charger used: Rocky Mountain makes two chargers available, one with 4 amps and one with 2 amps. The less powerful one charges the battery from 0-100% in 7 hours and 35 minutes.
The bike is compatible with the Overtimepack, which gives you an extra 314Wh of battery capacity on top of the 720Wh. This means that you have a total of 1,034Wh available before needing a recharge.

The horizontal chainstay can be adjusted by 10mm: longer gives more stability, shorter gives more playfulness to the bike. The RIDE-4 adjustment system allows you to adjust the bike's geometry and suspension with a single Allen key. Four configurations are possible thanks to two small chips.
