After years of supporting the world’s best time trial specialists, the Prologo Tgale TT saddle has been completely renewed with a revolutionary design born from aerodynamic research and track testing. It’s ready to accompany both professional athletes and the most demanding cyclists in their time trial challenges. Designed using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) aerodynamic simulation software, the new Tgale has been developed and refined thanks to the valuable feedback of top riders such as Filippo Ganna, Tadej Pogacar, Joshua Tarling, Stefan Küng, and Stefan Bissegger.

By studying the riders’ positions during time trials, Prologo analyzed the actual seating area used by professionals, which is shorter than the full length of the saddle, though still compliant with UCI regulations. From this research and testing came Prologo’s revolutionary idea: to create a high-performance time trial saddle with variable padding—thicker in the nose and central section where the rider sits, and extremely reduced in the rear part.

The nose of the saddle, completely flat, features over 20mm of extra padding to provide greater support and comfort during high-intensity pedaling. In the central area, the padding tapers down to 18mm, leading to a cut-out or “step” at the rear, a section that riders rarely use, where the padding is reduced to just a few millimeters.

The cut-out between the front and rear sections of the padding achieves two goals: reducing the overall saddle weight and improving aerodynamics, thanks to a thinner rear shape that channels airflow from the rider’s back parallel to the ground.

The base, made of long-fiber injected carbon, has been slimmed down by over 5mm, significantly reducing the overall weight. At just 234 grams in the CPC version, the new Tgale TT is 8% lighter than its predecessor.

To further enhance performance, the Tgale TT features CPC (Connect Power Control) technology—Prologo’s patented system of 3D conical nano-structures that improve grip, absorb vibrations, and maximize rider stability, helping maintain the most aerodynamic position for longer periods.
