After years of supporting the best time trial specialists, the Prologo Tgale TT saddle has been completely renewed with a revolutionary design born from aerodynamic studies and track testing. It is ready to accompany both professional athletes and the most demanding cyclists in their time trial challenges. Designed using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) aerodynamic simulation software, the new Tgale has been developed and refined thanks to valuable feedback from top champions such as Filippo Ganna, Tadej Pogacar, Joshua Tarling, Stefan Küng, and Stefan Bissegger.

The study of professional riders' positions allowed Prologo to analyze the actual seating area used during time trials, which is effectively shorter than the total length of the saddle but still complies with UCI regulations. From these studies and tests, and in full compliance with UCI rules, Prologo conceived a true revolution: creating a time trial saddle with high-performance variable padding — thicker at the nose and central section, where the rider effectively sits, and extremely thin at the rear.

The flat saddle nose features more than 20mm of extra padding to provide greater support and comfort during high-intensity pedaling. In the central section, the padding tapers down to 18mm, leading to a “step” cut-out in the rear area — a part of the saddle that is rarely used by riders — where the padding is reduced to just a few millimeters. The cut-out between the front and rear sections of the padding achieves two goals: reducing the overall weight of the saddle and improving aerodynamics, thanks to the thinner rear shape that channels airflow from the rider’s back parallel to the road.

The base, made of long-fiber injected carbon, has been slimmed down by over 5mm, significantly contributing to weight reduction. Weighing only 234 grams in the CPC version, the Tgale TT is 8% lighter than the previous model. To further enhance performance, the Tgale TT uses CPC (Connect Power Control) technology — a patented system of 3D conical nano-structures that improve grip, absorb vibrations, and maximize rider stability, helping to maintain an aerodynamic position for longer.
