The new P Zero Race TLR is the first PIRELLI product with tubeless technology entirely made in Italy, at the new Bollate factory.

The new generation of PZERO Race TLR is the most performing tire in the PIRELLI portfolio and the first tire with tubeless technology entirely made in Italy. The introduction of the new SPEEDCORE technology in the 120tpi casing involves the use of a mixed aramid compound covering the inner layer of the tire, improving both smoothness and tire resistance. Result: a less rigid but faster tire. The compound still features the same advanced SmartEVO technology, shared with other high-performance tires in the PZERO range.

SmartEVO Compound

The most advanced racing formulation for road use ever, born from Pirelli's experience in top Motorsport competitions and specific collaboration with World Tour factory teams. The new SmartEVO Compound uses a blend of 3 different polymers, each providing performance in a perfect balance of opposing characteristics, such as grip and smoothness. The ternary polymer blend with "intelligent" behavior forms the basis of the exceptional properties of the SmartEvo compound, allowing better grip on both dry and wet surfaces, while improving rolling resistance. SmartEVO Compound is a high-performance compound developed for the most modern cycling disciplines, from local races to the World Tour, to epic adventures where weather and road surfaces require tires that excel in all circumstances. SmartEVO is for exclusive use in the P ZERO range.

SPEEDCORE

The most performing tubeless-ready road structure in the Pirelli range involves the use of a layer of mixed aramid compound covering the inner layer of the tire, allowing it to hold air. This new structure makes the tire more resistant, thanks to the presence of aramid, but at the same time less rigid and faster, due to the greater flexibility of the compound compared to a bead-to-bead fabric. The casing is then completed with a 120tpi Nylon canvas and an anti-puncture layer, also in aramid.
