PIRELLI P ZERO RACE TLR 700X30 TIRE

The new generation of PZERO Race TLR is the most high-performance tire in the PIRELLI portfolio, and it is also the first tubeless tire entirely made in Italy. The introduction of the new SPEEDCORE technology in the 120tpi casing involves the use of a compound mixed with aramid that covers the inner layer of the tire, improving both smoothness and tire durability. The result is a less rigid but faster tire. The compound maintains the same advanced SmartEVO technology, shared with other high-performance PZERO tires.

• The tread of the P Zero™ Race TLR is an evolution of the P Zero™ Velo design: several seasons of research and development on the roads of the World Tour have led to a new design that enhances the bike's performance in all weather conditions.

TECHNOLOGIES:

• SmartEVO Compound: The most advanced racing formulation for road use ever, born from Pirelli's experience in top-level Motorsport competitions and specific collaboration with World Tour factory teams. The new SmartEVO Compound uses a blend of 3 different polymers, each providing performance in a perfect balance of opposite characteristics, such as grip and smoothness. The ternary polymer blend with "intelligent" behavior forms the basis of the exceptional properties of the SmartEVO compound, allowing better grip on both dry and wet surfaces, while improving rolling resistance. SmartEVO Compound is a high-performance compound developed for the most modern cycling disciplines, from local races or the World Tour to epic adventures where weather and road conditions demand tires that excel in all circumstances. SmartEVO is exclusive to the P ZERO range.
• SPEEDCORE: The most high-performance tubeless-ready road structure in the Pirelli range involves the use of a layer of a compound mixed with aramid covering the inner layer of the tire, allowing air retention. This new structure makes the tire more resistant, thanks to the presence of aramid, but at the same time less rigid and faster, due to the greater flexibility of the compound compared to bead-to-bead fabric. The casing is then completed by a 120tpi Nylon fabric and an anti-puncture layer, also in aramid.
