Reaver is the brand-new Maxxis tire designed for gravel racing. The low-profile tread pattern uses diamond-shaped siping to reduce rolling resistance and improve grip on dusty or slippery surfaces. Triple paddle-shaped knobs provide extra bite during hard braking. The side knobs are spaced apart and offset to ensure consistent cornering. Between the side knobs, a groove allows them to flex and conform to the terrain, enhancing traction. Reaver is ideal for riders because it is faster, lighter, and even more durable than the Rambler. In mixed conditions, the Rambler is more versatile, but if off-road speed is the top priority, the Reaver is the best choice.
