The Maxxis Assegai tire is named after the iron-tipped lance used by the Zulu people of South Africa.

Greg Minnaar, originally from South Africa and 3-time DH world champion, thought it was an appropriate name for a tire ready to fight on the mountain.

The high grips perforate dust and soil to find traction, but also offer support and safety on wet roots and rocks.

While other tyres only excel under certain conditions, the new Maxxis Assegai is built to go fast...anywhere!
