The Ardent Race EXO TR is the Maxxis wheel for the Cross-Country discipline practiced on mixed terrain. Designed to ensure maximum traction, the tire has a large volume carcass with large block sidewalls for excellent cornering grip and a tread that minimises rolling resistance and ensures effective braking. The Tubeless Ready system allows the tire to be fitted with or without an inner tube, and the latter is fitted with Exo reinforcement on the sidewalls for added protection against abrasion and tearing.

TECHNOLOGIES

• EXO: extremely resistant to cuts and abrasions added to the sides of MTB tires. This layer obtained with a super-light dense weave does not affect the performance of the tire.
• TR TUBELESS READY: The TR tubeless ready version of MAXXIS provides the biker with many advantages: the possibility to pedal with a reduced tyre pressure, this greatly improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to tubeless tires; lower possibility to have the tyre on the ground. Maxxis TR tubeless ready covers have the same advantages as UST tubeless covers without being penalized by the increased weight. For the TR version a standard casing is used and therefore requires the use of anti-puncture liquid for air tightness. Maxxis TR covers are the only covers approved for use with anti-puncture liquids.
  Maxxis TR tubeless ready tires can also be used on non Tubeless wheels with the use of an inner tube.
