HOPE TECH4 V4 BRAIDED REAR BRAKE

The HOPE TECH4 V4 BRAIDED REAR BRAKE, replaces the Tech 3, and is compatible with all Hope calipers. The new master cylinder can be used in combination with the four calipers of the previous model, i.e. X2 Cross Country, E4 Enduro, V4 Downhill and TrialZone for trial.
The braking power has been increased by 30% and this has been possible both through a different hydraulic ratio and thanks to a smaller diameter master cylinder. The new seals reduce friction in the hydraulic system: this feature, together with the roller bearings positioned in the lever pivot, allows for a lighter return spring and makes it less tiring to use the brakes when descending.
The hinged clamp further reduces the weight of the brake while the reservoir is positioned at the height of the lower stack.
The V4 calipers have been updated to accommodate phenolic-insert stainless steel hybrid pistons for even smoother movement and less maintenance.
The brake is sold with Racing organic compound pads designed for minimal rest and maximum power.
