Rear-view radar with integrated camera and rear light that records the bike ride. It detects vehicles approaching from behind and displays their icons on the compatible Garmin device.
Built-in camera continuously records and automatically saves footage if it detects an accident. The rear-view radar allows you to ride knowing all traffic conditions, the camera is controllable from your Garmin device, and footage is immediately dispobinable via the Varia™ smartphone app.
The radar is compact and easy to mount and is compatible with most bicycles, and the light and camera settings are customizable to make the battery last a long time. Up to 6 hours of battery life with radar, daytime flashing rear light, and camera recording.
The rear-view radar provides visual and audible warnings for vehicles approaching from behind up to 140 meters away. When used with a compatible smartphone, the product integrates seamlessly with Apps such as Ride with GPS and others to overlay rearview radar alerts on maps.
The light's daytime visibility is up to 1.6 km away, and Varia can be easily mounted on almost any type of bicycle-the upright design leaves thigh room and allows for comfortable pedaling.
With a battery that lasts up to 4 hours with radar, camera, and high steady or flashing rear light at night, 5 hours steady and low, and 6 hours flashing daylight, you have enough power for longer rides, all with 1080p camera recording.
