ESIGRIPS EXTRA CHUNKY GRIPS

Esigrips Chunky MTB knobs are the most used by champions. Made of silicone sponge material, Chuncky grips are recommended to those who expect the greatest possible comfort. They weigh about 80gr and are therefore very light, thanks to the absence of any kind of metal collar. The cap that must be placed at the head of the handlebar, detached from the knob, is made entirely of plastic material with the ESI logo rubberized at the end. The knobs have the particularity of not maintaining the same thickness for the whole circumference, but about half of the knob is slightly thicker to allow perfect contact with the palm of the hand and to dampen the vibrations of the ground as much as possible.

They are distinguished from their Esigrips Chunky sisters by their thickness and weight: the Extra Chunky grips have a thickness of 34mm, slightly higher than the first ones, and a weight of 80mm.

Assembly
To mount the knobs it will be necessary to remove the previous ones with soap and possibly grease the handlebars. Then, wet the handlebars with alcohol and insert them carefully. At first they will tend to move, but then the alcohol will evaporate and in a short time they will not move anymore.
