DT SWISS GRC 1400 DICUT 30 DISC 12/100 FRONT WHEEL

A record-breaking off-road experience
That split second when you leave the road behind, your arms bracing for rocky, exhilarating terrain—this is where the GRC 1400 DICUT shines. Ready to tackle vibrations and obstacles on gravel routes, it allows you to leave behind not only the pavement but also your shadow and your inhibitions! Available in two distinct rim heights, this wheel offers unmatched reliability whether you're gliding over sparkling gravel like champagne or confidently navigating unpredictable rocky trails. With 50 mm of aerodynamic optimization, it's ideal for chasing KOM/QOMs and outpacing your friends on your favorite gravel segments. The 30 mm rim height minimizes steering torque, giving you the agility needed for long adventures, freeing you from any limitations. Each rim comes out of the mold fully finished thanks to a new patented manufacturing process, eliminating the need for a final coating—keeping your wheelset light yet strong, and making you stand out. Paired with the ideal performance-to-weight ratio of the 240 DICUT hub and durable DT aero comp II spokes, the GRC 1400 DICUT wheels are eager to leave the tarmac. So, what's your move: are you in the hunt or sitting it out?

New Carbon Rim Molding Process
The innovative mold design eliminates the need for a final coating, saving weight and providing a sleek finish.

Spokes
DT aero comp II T-head spokes ensure an ideal, balanced combination of stiffness, aerodynamics, and durability.

Hub
Enjoy direct power transfer in every riding situation with the 240 DICUT hub and Ratchet EXP technology.

TECHNOLOGIES

Ratchet EXP
DT Swiss hubs are known for their tool-free design. With a slight revision of the bushings, we’ve enhanced this system for even easier maintenance. Less weight: beyond optimized reliability, the one-piece construction that merges the ratchet ring and threaded ring reduces the number of components. Less wear: a single cylindrical spring ensures quicker full engagement, improving reliability. Complete engagement of the ratchets increases the contact surface, resulting in lower pressure loads and greater durability. Integrating the bearing into the threaded ring allows for a wider bearing stance, which supports the axle better and reduces flex, improving bearing protection and longevity.

Aero+
The perfect fusion of resistance, handling, and efficiency. The AERO+ concept focuses on optimizing multiple parameters toward a single goal: greater speed! Translational drag is the aerodynamic force that slows a rider in the direction of travel. It depends on the frontal surface area of the rider (75%), the road bike and components (25%), and speed. Minimizing this drag requires reducing the overall impact surface and maximizing aerodynamic efficiency. Since aerodynamic resistance increases with the square of speed, reducing it is key to going faster. At speeds above 15 km/h, aero drag is the dominant force a rider must overcome—and the front wheel accounts for 8% of total drag.

Tubeless Technology
All DT Swiss wheels are tubeless compatible, and ASM versions come pre-equipped with tubeless tape and valves. Tubeless tires offer several advantages over traditional tube-and-tire setups: they allow for lower inflation pressure without the risk of pinch flats ("snakebite" punctures), improving grip and comfort. With lower rolling resistance and no inner tube friction, they also improve efficiency. The use of sealant allows the tire to self-seal small punctures and cuts—a major plus for long-distance riders who may be far from the nearest repair shop.

Spoke Technology
Creating high-quality spokes was the foundation of DT Swiss. Even before DT Swiss AG was officially founded, “DT” stood for premium Swiss spokes. Today, DT Swiss spokes are renowned for durability and precision, and thanks to an exclusive manufacturing process, they deliver an unmatched combination of lightness and strength.

New Carbon Rim Molding Technology
An innovative and industry-unique rim manufacturing process, combined with non-destructive layer-by-layer inspection, ensures lightweight yet robust rims for long-lasting riding experiences. Traditionally, carbon rim segments are built separately, often introducing irregularities during assembly. Our new method maintains continuous fibers in impact zones, avoiding cuts in the outer layers—this results in stronger rims with fewer imperfections and improved impact resistance.
