• The lightest Colnago ever: At just 685 grams for the ready-to-paint frame (size 485), the V5Rs is the lightest Colnago frame ever made. The frame kit weighs 12.5% less than its predecessor, with no compromise in stiffness.
• Refined profiles: Experience gained from the Y1Rs helped refine the V5Rs design. It adopts slender, efficient profiles that offer wind tunnel performance close to the best aero frames.
• Reduced frontal area: The V5Rs has a frontal area of just 250 cm² – 13% less than its predecessor. The evolution of the narrower head tube further reduces drag and saves watts.
• Stiff and responsive: The V5Rs combines lightness and aerodynamics without sacrificing stiffness or reactivity, delivering top-tier performance for UAE Team pro riders.
• Sharper handling: A new fork design improves precision and lowers weight. With a 32 mm tire clearance, it supports wider tires for better grip, handling, and speed on rough terrain.
• Top-quality carbon: Advanced lamination techniques ensure each frame area receives precise fiber placement. The result: a lightweight, strong, and durable structure.
