The Chisel is the lightest alloy full-suspension bike in the world. It is 18.4% lighter than similar models in its category and, thanks to the kinematics and geometry of its big sister, the Epic 8, the Chisel delivers outstanding performance on every ride.

• SPEED METAL: Featuring D'Aluisio Smartweld, the Chisel boasts the lightest XC aluminum frame in its category, with highly manipulated tubing and varied thicknesses and profiles for efficiency, vibration absorption, comfort, and optimal control.
• CAPACITY: Equipped with 110mm Ride Dynamics-tuned suspension, the Chisel inherits its high-performance pedigree directly from the Epic 8, our World Cup racing machine. Advanced suspension kinematics DNA from the Epic 8, Ride Dynamics-tuned suspension, and progressive geometry refined on World Cup technical tracks can all be found in the Chisel, making it more than capable of handling diverse terrains with confidence and speed.
• EFFICIENCY: The Chisel is the most efficient bike in its category, thanks to the geometry and kinematics developed for the Epic 8. The advanced seat tube positions the rider optimally for pedaling. Optimized anti-squat reduces pedal-bob. Put it all together, and you'll understand how the Chisel translates every watt on the pedals into maximum forward motion.
• SMOOTHER IS FASTER: Flex Stay seatstays were designed to be category-leading in suspension performance while eliminating the additional weight and maintenance of joints used in traditional designs. Extensive field and lab testing have shown that the Chisel has achieved the impossible: the efficiency, control, and lightness of the Flex Stay design – common on carbon bikes – with an advanced alloy.
• HYDROFORMED ALLOY: The hydroformed one-piece seat tube includes the bearing seat and bottom bracket shell, unlike a traditional alloy bike where the two components are welded. This further shaves material and weight off the Chisel.
