The lightweight and ventilated DAINESE KID SCARABEO PRO KNEE GUARDS are equipped with the Pro-Shape protector and have the same characteristics as those worn by the greatest MTB champions. The kneepad is built around the Scarabeo Pro-Shape protector that takes its inspiration from the geometry of the auxetic materials found in nature that, in case of impact, expand simultaneously in all directions, increasing the coverage area.
The structure of the protector allows maximum freedom of movement, flexibility and follows all the movements of the rider without hindering the pedaling. The Pro Shape Scarabeo protector absorbs 83% of the force of the impact and does not transfer it to the knee. The surface of the protector is open on 55% of its area, allowing, together with the highly breathable stretch fabric, excellent air circulation even on the hottest days.
