The 160E is Yeti’s brand-new e-mtb. The bike features a dedicated suspension, specifically developed for it, called Sixfinity, and it is totally different from what has been seen on the SB66, SB6 and SB150. This brand-new suspension is specifically designed and tuned to work with an electric motor.The Sixfinity layout, patented by Yeti, is a 6-bar linkage whose lower linkage, called Switch Link, has a behavior similar to that of the Switch Infinity. Sixfinity can be adjusted to have behavior suitable for the weight and speed of an e-MTB. The structural stiffness thus adapts to the weight and mass of an e-MTB.The more the suspension compresses, the more the Switch Link starts to rotate upwards until the inversion point where it reverses rotation and turns downwards. In the SAG area, that is while pedaling, the suspension remains neutral thanks to a very high and constant level of anti-squat, between 100% and 109%: pedaling does not interfere with the rear suspension as long as the switch-link rotates upwards.At the inversion point, that is at about 80-90 mm of travel, when you are no longer pedaling, the suspension becomes progressive and behaves like a classic Yeti suspension.This bike has therefore been designed to ensure maximum traction and stability while the motor assistance is active, that is while pedaling. To prevent the action of the rear brake from inhibiting the operation of the suspension, the Sixfinity suspension has an anti-rise level of 65% at about 50-60 mm of travel, i.e. in the SAG area, which is a lower percentage than on Yeti MTBs. This allows the rear wheel to remain well adhered to the ground at all times and not upset the bike’s geometry when riding downhill while braking.You can also vary the suspension’s leverage ratio: the leverage ratio indicates by how many mm the shock compresses as the suspension compresses. The ratio varies during the operation of the suspension.The bike is equipped with the shimano EP801 motor, 160 mm of travel, and 29" wheels. The 29" wheels are fast, the rear triangle is fairly short, and thanks to the new suspension layout it is possible to house the shimano EP801 motor
01 without moving the rear wheel too far back. The rear triangle in fact measures 44.6 cm which, with a 29" wheel, is an excellent result for an e-MTB with 160 mm of travel.The battery is semi-integrated, has a capacity of 630Wh and is produced by shimano: the battery is attached to the down tube and protected by a cover: this solution makes charging easier should it need to be performed away from the bike.Head angle of 64.5° with the 170 mm fork and 44 mm offset, effective seat tube angle of 78°, reach of 460 mm in size M, chainstay of 446 mm, bottom bracket height (approx.) 350 mm on all sizes.Internal cable routing in the frame and, if you mount a wireless drivetrain, the cable ports can be configured accordingly. On frames from M to XL it is possible to mount a bottle cage on the down tube. The ASR is back. We have never made a lighter full-suspension bike, but that’s only half the story. Bring the right suspension to the right mountain bike races. The kind of racing that requires skill, not just lungs.The new ASR marks the most extensive carbon project we have ever undertaken. It has produced the lightest full-suspension bike in our history, updated the flex-stay design to meet today’s kinematic standards, delivered proper support, killer small-bump sensitivity, insane traction, and 100% usable travel.Custom lamella shapes, critical material selection, smart layup methods, and smooth transitions between every carbon ply have removed redundant carbon, delivering radical strength at super light weight. Such an ambitious program, based on in-depth carbon analysis tools, is an absolute first for Yeti.We wanted to eliminate carbon redundancy everywhere, not just where it was easy. Our more than 20 years of experience with solo carbon told us we could remove solid volume at the pivots and still exceed cross-country demands, with no downside in performance or bearing life.Another goal of the ASR was to design every frame with the same riding characteristics, to give every rider the same feel, regardless of size. Since the ASR uses single-ply carbon layups to eliminate redundant carbon, every sheet had to be cut with precision. Boring? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely yes. This made it possible to tune size-specific frames at a much more sensitive level, and also to precisely match the torsional stiffness and flex profiles of the frame.The year was 2003 and our flex-stay design represented a decade-long approach to full-suspension XC. Today, the embodied ASR considers the relationships between leverage rate, link dimensions, the material properties of the carbon layup, and modern short-stroke shocks to deliver XC-specific suspension that is responsive, efficient, and surprisingly light.Unlike the conventional methodology of pivot placement for longer-travel applications, the ASR’s pivots are positioned so that the walls of the existing tubes constitute a significant part of their shape and structure. To further reduce redundant carbon and save weight.The ASR features an almost linear progression curve to offer the best balance of efficiency in the middle of the suspension, where XC racers spend most of their time. But with 20% sag, it offers small-bump sensitivity typical of longer-travel bikes. In addition, the last ¼ of the travel is designed to increase ramp, so that the biggest hits and aggressive race lines don’t knock the bike off line.
YETI ASR ULTIMATE BIKE MAIN FEATURES:
Secure entry and exit fastenings on the frame eliminate noise and rubbing. The external brake routing from the handlebar to the head tube makes servicing easier, and there is no aerodynamic advantage in hiding them.
On the muddiest race days, the integrated rear mudguard prevents debris from hindering suspension movement. It weighs very little. It’s a frame feature you only notice when it’s gone.
The Hangerless interface creates the most robust and precise shifting, allowing Eagle Transmission derailleurs to be mounted directly to the wheel axle and to clamp on both sides of the frame. But Hangerless Interface is also perfect for previous drivetrains, thanks to the included Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH).

Built around the World Cup-winning suspension that athletes and editors worldwide call “one of the best-performing mountain bike suspensions” they’ve ever ridden. Sixfinity is how the LTe generates speed.
Tuned to race. Racing optional. Winning the E-EDR World Cup taught us a lot. And all that experience went into tuning Sixfinity, optimized for the Bosch CX drive unit power characteristics and total system weight. On the LTe, all six linkage arms control wheel path and shock rate. Sixfinity allows far greater independence when tuning for acceleration, deceleration, traction, and supportive suspension characteristics unique to the demands of an eMTB.
Acceleration response: Tuned for full power E. We tune Sixfinity’s pedaling efficiency (anti-squat) at sag to maintain the same efficiency as seen with Switch Infinity. Because the LTe rocks such a powerful drive unit, we scale the anti-squat curve values lower than any other bike in our lineup. So it can be set free to fully flow. It feels simply insane. Plus, as the Switch Link moves up, pedaling support is provided where desired, with higher anti-squat centered at sag extending across the pedaling zone. As the Switch Link moves down, the anti-squat sharply drops off for descending performance.
Deceleration response: Predictable control. We tune anti-rise to remain consistent throughout suspension travel with a linear curve. Why? The LTe’s linear anti-rise strikes the ideal balance between active suspension and geometry preservation when braking. It’s this trait – combined with the switching behavior of the acceleration response – that puts Sixfinity in a performance class all its own.
Tunable leverage. Get it how you like it. With the LTe, you can adjust Sixfinity’s progression rate to fine-tune it to your riding style and shock choice with the flip of a chip. Choose racy and consistent, balanced, or plush yet poppy with more bottom-out resistance. In all settings, the linear shape of the LTe suspension rates provides consistent, confidence-inspiring predictability.
Perfect alignment. Maximum longevity. Crazy smoothness. The LTe carries forward our World Cup-winning, precision-machined shock linkage. Designed for perfect shock alignment, it also uses floating collet axles to further smooth the action, adding to that unreal LTe feel. Plus, it uses standard-sized cartridge bearings to make service no big deal. Sixfinity provides better alignment for improved bearing life and less service for the rider. Battle-tested on the E-EDR World Cup, Sixfinity has proven to deliver world-class reliability.
Range Extender compatibility. Dig those missions where you just keep going and going? The LTe is compatible with the PowerMore Range Extender aftermarket (sizes MD-XL). The PowerMore pack adds 250 watt-hours and uses a 200mm cable length.

The YETI SB120C, with KIT C2, is a “downcountry” bike: it has the lightness of an XC bike, it pedals like an XC, it goes faster downhill than an XC bike and it has no lockouts on the handlebar. The Switch-Infinity floating pivot suspension sets new expectations for kinematics, longevity, sensitivity and strength.The frame silhouette takes inspiration from the SB160 and torsional precision and ground clearance have been increased, without transferring unwanted feedback to the rider. And the refined Switch Infinity makes this bike far more capable than its weight might suggest.The brand-new pivot design uses 100% standard-size cartridge bearings secured with precision: machined floating axles. All bearings are press-fit into the rear triangle or the front triangle.A relatively linear progression curve offers riders an active and usable travel with 30% sag, a much greater margin than other bikes with 120 mm of travel. The SB120’s small-bump sensitivity offers incredible traction. The mid-stroke has support that ensures riders don’t use up all the travel when aggressively cornering or lifting the wheels off the ground. The “Oh Shit!” moments are handled with ease: the compression curve has been tuned for greater control from start to finish.The bottom bracket is a threaded aluminum unit with integrated ISCG-05 mounts. If a derailleur hanger incident occurs, the new Yeti models use the UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) interface, the standard mount for a rear derailleur.The shorter seat tube allows the use of a longer dropper post. Most riders will be able to use a 150 mm dropper post on Small* frames, 175 mm on Medium* frames and 200 mm+ on L-XXL* frames (depending on the actual saddle height on the specific bike size).The ultra-compact, minimalist one-piece shock link has been specially designed for the needs of the shorter suspension travel of the SB120.
