Dialed Geometry
This bike offers the same capabilities as long-travel models, is agile in the tightest sections and super efficient and energetic when climbing. The generous cockpit centers you on the bike, optimizing traction and cornering control. The low bottom bracket, slack head angle and optimized fork offset improve stability on the most technical terrain.
Customizable Setup
With fully adjustable geometry, the Stumpjumper 15 Alloy is the most customizable trail bike ever. Six different setups allow you to choose the performance best suited to your ride style and the type of terrain. The head angle and bottom bracket height are adjustable to give you a more stabile ride feel or greater “clearance.”
Fun Before Forma
The frame can be more or less stiff, but not too stiff. To become uno with the bike, it must have a certain degree of flex. We designed the M5 Alloy frame by combining front triangle, rear triangle and link into a unit that offers the stiffness needed for trail ride demands.

The S-Works Aethos frame has been designed to create the perfect combination of ride quality, light weight and style – so you can accelerate even on steep climbs, descend the most technical downhills, and still be comfortable during long Sunday rides. But you’ll ask, how did we do it? We reinvented the traditional road bike shape of the past, changing it slightly to optimize stiffness and balance without compromising weight or strength. VIBRATION DAMPING: The Future Shock 3.0 cartridge is the new stella in the firmament, more adjustable and durable. Regardless of your position in sella, every rider can leverage 20mm of travel, friction-free, between the stem and the head tube. Your hands on the handlebar remain ferme, ensuring a smoother ride with greater control to be faster, safer, and more confident.
The design with a lowered clamp exposes a greater portion of the seatpost to increase its flex. The Pavé seatpost ‘controls’ this movement for optimal vibration absorption in the vertical plane. These two things together form the ‘AfterShock’ technology, and in combination with the Roubaix’s stiff rear triangle, create a smooth ride without compromising efficiency.
The Roubaix SL8 is the most comfortable road bike ever tested by our Ride Science Team — it reduces impacts at the handlebar by 53% compared to other bikes in this category. With the Future Shock 3.0 cartridge the wheel flies over the obstacle while the rider remains stabile and holds the line on rough terrain. Normally, the fork flexes backward on an impact, causing a loss of speed. It’s scientific: more comfortable means faster.
CAPABILITY: The Roubaix pioneered endurance geometry, giving you the feeling of riding ‘inside’ the bike, not ‘on’ the bike. This reduces pressure on your hands, shoulders, and arms, giving you capability and confidence on any road.
With clearance for tires up to 38c/40mm, this endurance road bike provides exceptional traction on rough roads or gravel. Thanks to lightweight and efficient Specialized tires, this increased section comes with no downsides.

Aerodynamics or lightness alone do not win races: what counts is speed. To achieve this speed, it is necessary to create a no-compromise combination of aerodynamics, lightness, stiffness and shock absorption. Thanks to complex simulations using real data, our Ride Science Team has verified that the Tarmac SL8 is the fastest racing bike on any route: 16.6 seconds over 40 km of flat terrain, 128 seconds faster on the Milan-Sanremo route, 20 seconds faster on the Tourmalet climb.

MAIN FEATURES OF THE SPECIALIZED TARMAC SL8 SRAM RED AXS BIKE:
AERODYNAMICS: We use aerodynamics where it is most needed, and in the process we have created our fastest road bike ever - yes, even more aerodynamic than the Venge. The front end has been optimized for maximum advantage. The steerer tube is positioned behind the front part of the frame head tube to offer much lower aerodynamic resistance. Thanks to the new UCI rules, for the SL8 we were able to use the narrowest and most aerodynamic seatpost we have ever made, to ensure that the turbulent air in the leg area can flow more easily towards the rear of the bicycle.
LIGHTNESS: To create the Tarmac SL8 and make the most aerodynamic bicycle while respecting the minimum weight requirements imposed by the UCI, we took inspiration from what we learned with the Aethos. The team produced a 685 gram frame, 15% lighter than the Tarmac SL7 and lighter than any other bicycle in the World Tour*. By focusing on maximum lightness in the down tube, seat tube and rear part of the bicycle, we applied the lessons learned in the Aethos project. The frame shapes respond so efficiently to stresses that it was possible to reduce the material thickness, eliminating the superfluous. *Except for that time when Kasper Asgreen raced with our 585 gram Aethos frame during a stage of the Tour.
RIDE QUALITY: The stiffness-to-weight ratio of the Tarmac SL8 is 33% better than that of the SL7. The Tarmac SL8 sets a new benchmark in handling: it is precise in the most demanding situations and responds immediately and efficiently to pedal input. While the areas that ensure power transfer and steering precision are stiffer than ever, in the saddle the Tarmac SL8 is more comfortable, filtering 6% more vibrations from the ground and allowing you to attack corners with a feeling of agility and balance that is unique in the world of racing bikes. The new Tarmac SL8 maintains the proven geometry of the SL7 model, with the same generous clearance for 32 mm tires, so that you can use higher volume tires when necessary.

The SPECIALIZED TARMAC SL8 EXPERT BIKE is fast, aerodynamic and lightweight, with a ride quality never before achieved. Aerodynamics, lightness and speed allow you to win competitions. To achieve speed, it is necessary to create a no-compromise combination of aerodynamics, lightness, stiffness and shock absorption.The Specialized Ride Science Team has verified that the Tarmac SL8 is the fastest frame on any course: 16.6 seconds over 40 km of flat terrain, 128 seconds faster on the Milano-Sanremo course, 20 seconds faster on the Tourmalet climb.The bike is equipped with SRAM Rival eTap AXS groupset with power meter, C38 tubeless ready carbon wheels, an SL7 stem with Specialized Expert alloy handlebar.
SPECIALIZED TARMAC SL8 EXPERT BIKE MAIN FEATURES:
The front section has been optimized to obtain maximum advantage. The steerer tube is positioned behind the front part of the frame’s head tube to offer much lower aerodynamic drag. Thanks to the new UCI regulations, it was possible to mount a narrower and more aerodynamic seatpost on the SL8 to ensure that the turbulent air in the leg area can flow more easily towards the rear of the bicycle.
685-gram frame, 15% lighter than the Tarmac SL7 and lighter than any other World Tour* bicycle. Maximum possible lightness in the area of the down tube, seat tube and rear part of the bicycle. The frame shapes respond so efficiently to stresses that it was possible to reduce the material thickness, eliminating the superfluous.
The stiffness-to-weight ratio is 33% better than the SL7. The frame is agile and precise in the most demanding situations and responds in an immediate and efficient way to pedal input. The areas that ensure power transfer and steering precision are stiffer than ever; in the saddle, the Tarmac SL8 is more comfortable, filtering 6% more of the vibrations coming from the ground and allowing you to attack corners with a feeling of agility and balance that is unique in the world of racing bikes. Same geometry as the SL7 with the same generous tire clearance for 32 mm, so you can use higher-volume tires when necessary.
