SPEEDCORE
The most high-performing tubeless-ready road structure of the Pirelli gamma involves the use of a layer of compound mixed with aramid that covers the inner layer of the tyre, ensuring air retention. This new structure makes the tyre more resistant, thanks to the presence of aramid, but at the same time less rigid and faster, due to the greater flexibility of the compound compared to a bead-to-bead fabric. The casing is then completed by a tela in 120 tpi Nylon and by a puncture-resistant layer, also in aramid.

The S-Works Aethos frameset has been designed to create the perfetto combination of ride quality, light weight and style - so you can accelerate even on steep climbs, descend the most technical downhills and be comfortable even during long Sunday rides. But you may wonder, how did we do it? We reinvented the traditional forma of road bikes of the past, changing it slightly to optimize stiffness and balance without compromising weight or strength. Active debris removal feature (ADR): a new unique dust cover design that is firmly anchored in a recess in the pulley so as to completely enclose the bearing. ADR is paired with our new solid disc 14- and 20-tooth pulleys, simply called ALPHA.
The ALPHA disc features a two-piece structure. A separate narrow-wide tooth profile produced in a composite material that offers extended wear protection and noise reduction.
