The tyre can be mounted both on the front and on the rear and is equipped with knobs capable of penetrating dust and dirt, in order to always offer excellent traction, support and safety on any type of terrain.

The Maxxis Assegai tire is named after the lancia with a ferro tip used by the Zulu people of South Africa.
Greg Minnaar, originally from South Africa and 3-time DH campione del mondo, thought it was an appropriate name for a tire ready to fight on the mountain.
The alte knobs pierce dust and loam to find traction, but also offer support and confidence on wet roots and rocks.
While altri tires excel solo in certain conditions, the new Maxxis Assegai is built to go fast... everywhere!
