The Enve M730 wheel has been specifically designed for Enduro use, meaning more intense usage and also more prone to breakage and pinch flats. The rim features the Protective Rim Strip system, which means the wheel is based on a two-part system that forms the tire bed on the rim: one part is the rim itself, providing solid structure, the other part is a dedicated strip that covers the entire bed, as shown in the image below, sealing the channel, and thus not requiring the sealing tape, but also covering both sides of the rim, thereby making the sidewall more protected in case of hard impacts and bringing the width to as much as 5mm, to prevent tire cuts in case of pinch flats.
