The REAR BRAKE HOPE TECH4 V4 SILVER, replaces the Tech3 model, and the new pump can be used in combination with the four calipers of the previous model, namely X2 Cross Country, E4 Enduro, V4 Downhill, and TrialZone for trial. The braking power has been increased by 30%, made possible both by a different hydraulic ratio and by a pump of smaller diameter. The new seals reduce friction in the hydraulic system: this feature, together with the roller bearings placed in the lever axle, allows for a lighter return spring and makes using the brakes on descents less tiring. The hinged caliper further reduces the brake weight while the reservoir is positioned at the height of the lower stack. The V4 calipers have been updated to accommodate stainless steel hybrid pistons with phenolic insert for even smoother movement and reduced maintenance. The brake is sold with Racing organic compound pads designed for minimal rest and maximum power.

The CORONA OVAL BURGTEC OVAL THICK-THIN GXP BOOST 3 MM OFFSET offers the mechanical advantage of greater transmission. Through numerous tests of prototypes with varying degrees of ovality, it has been found that 115% (from the center upwards) is optimal. This adequately reduced the dead spot and gave the same perfect chain retention and quiet operation as round chainrings. The shortening of the dead spot at the top and bottom of the power curve allows returning to the power phase of pedal rotation sooner.
OVAL BURGTEC OVAL THICK-THIN GXP BOOST 3 MM OFFSET MAIN FEATURES:

In short, the Stumpjumper descends with full control and climbs with agility.The S-Sizing geometry makes the bike progressive: long, low, relaxed, short-offset fork, a taller seat tube makes you pedal better. The bike geometry can be adjusted in six positions and you can raise the bottom bracket by 10mm and adjust the head angle by up to two degrees. The bike can be mounted as a Mullet with a 27.5" rear wheel paired with a 29" front wheel.The SWAT compartment allows you to carry pumps and small tools for quick repairs.
